Аннотация. Важность получения информации, связанной с расследованием чрезвычайных морских происшествий, не вызывает сомнений. В мировой статистике аварийных случаев основная доля приходится на пожары, столкновения и посадки на мель. Существенная часть этих аварий, так или иначе, связана с ненадлежащей эксплуатацией главных и вспомогательных двигателей, а также котлов. Детальный анализ таких случаев позволяет извлечь уроки из случившегося с тем, чтобы предотвратить подобное в будущем. Расследование оказывает весьма позитивное действие на состояние безопасности мореплавания. Важнейшая задача таких расследований – это выявление причин, вызвавших инцидент. Таким образом, материалы расследования морских инцидентов с рекомендациями по их предупреждению в будущем оказывает помощь всей морской индустрии. Если же фактические обстоятельства морских происшествий расследуются с опозданием и недостаточно аккуратно, это приводит к тому, что картина чрезвычайного морского происшествия затемняется и становится расплывчатой. Такого рода расследование не приносит пользы для развития практики мореплавания. Целью данной работы является исследование доступности информации об аварийных случаях с морскими судами для её изучения, систематизации и внедрения в учебный процесс с целью предотвращения в дальнейшем подобных аварий. В качестве объекта исследования взяты данные об аварийности морских судов, публикуемые некоторыми структурами, уполномоченными расследовать аварийные случаи. Критериями выбора указанных структур являются большое число судов, работающих под флагом данного государства, либо большая акватория в качестве зоны ответственности, либо интенсивный трафик в зоне ответственности.

Abstract. There is no doubt that it is very important to obtain information related to investigation of marine accidents. Fires, collisions and groundings take the main part in the worldwide statistics of accidents. A lot of accidents, one way or another, are caused by improper operation of the main and auxiliary engines, as well as boilers. The detailed analysis of such cases allows us to learn a lesson from what happened in order to prevent similar accidents in the future. The investigation has a very positive effect on the state of maritime safety. The most important task of such investigations is to identify the reasons that caused the incident. Thus, marine accidents investigation files with recommendations for their prevention in the future help the marine industry in the whole. If investigation of the actual circumstances of maritime accidents is delayed and performed inaccurately, the view ofthe maritime incident becomes obscured and vague. This kind of investigation does not benefit the development of maritime practice. The purpose of this work is to research the availability of information about marine accidents for its study, systematization and implementation in the educational process in order to prevent similar accidents in the future. The object of the study is the data on marine vessel accidents published by some structures authorized to investigate accidents. The criteria for selecting these structures are a large number of vessels operating under the flag of a given state, or a large water area as a zone of responsibility, or heavy traffic in the zone of responsibility.
