Аннотация. Рассмотрен случай аварийного выхода из строя левого главного двигателя сухогрузного теплохода «И. Жданов» и проведен анализ причин, приведших к подобному исходу. Исследование и анализ возможных причин аварийного выхода из строя левого главного двигателя (ЛГД) базировался на выписках из судовой документации, судового журнала, объяснительных записок судовых механиков и их опроса, перечня работ по дефектовке рамовых и шатунных подшипников на судоремонтном заводе. В результате анализа авторы пришли к заключению, что основным фактором исхода явились так называемые форс-мажорные обстоятельства: намотка рыбопромысловой сети на винт и последующей череды событий, приведших к тяжелому отказу двигателя. Показано, что при отсутствии средств безразборной диагностики не реально использование так называемой системы СТОФС, которую пытаются реализовать при технической эксплуатации соответствующие службы пароходств.

Abstract. The article considers the case of an emergency failure of the left main engine of the dry cargo ship I. Zhdanov" and an analysis of the reasons that led to such an outcome was carried out. The study and analysis of possible causes of the emergency failure of the left main engine (LGD) was based on extracts from the ship's documentation, the ship's log, explanatory notes of ship mechanics and their survey, and the completion of work on defective frame and connecting rod bearings at the ship repair plant. As a result of the analysis, the authors concluded that the main factor in the outcome was the so-called force majeure: the winding of the fishing net on the screw and the subsequent series of events that led to severe engine failure. It is shown that in the absence of means of non-selective diagnostics, it is not realistic to use the so-called STFS system, which the relevant shipping services are trying to implement during technical operation.
