Аннотация. Актуальность исследования обусловлена интересом научного сообщества к проблемам освоения новых территориальных пространств, открывающихся в связи с происходящими глобальными климатическими изменениями. Россия обладает уникальным историческим опытом в этой сфере, примером чего является успешное развитие и заселение в 1861-1914 гг. Волго-Каспийского рыболовного района, богатые рыбные ресурсы которого стали важным продовольственным фактором в разворачивавшемся процессе индустриализации страны. Целью исследования является изучение роли промышленно-промысловых кластеров в развитии Волго-Каспийского рыболовного района в 1861-1914 гг.

Abstract. The relevance of the study is due to the interest of the scientific community in the problems of developing new territorial spaces that are opening up in connection with taking place global climate changes. Russia has a unique historical experience in this area, an example of which is the successful development and settlement in 1861-1914 the Volga-Caspian fishing region, whose rich fish resources have become an important food factor in the unfolding process of the country's industrialization. The aim of the study is to study the role of industrial and commercial clusters in the development of the Volga-Caspian fishing region in 1861-1914.
